Summer is just around the corner and, even though I'm not particularly fond of the heat, I can't wait for it to come! From the beach to lazy afternoons on the river side, from Vespa rides in shorts and tank tops to late and absurdly long dinners  with friends, from the dolce fare niente days at the country to the crazy nights at the city... I begin to look beyond the uncomfortable heat to its relaxed, almost primitive vibe! Tan skin and exposed bodies, messy hair and bright smiles!

And if there's something that reminds me of Summer, it' the scent of sun screen lotions and this music and its video (as in "forget-the-version-of-the-music-in-the-video-and-listen-to-the-original-while-watching-the-video". I couldn't find the video with the original version of the music... bummer!). The music inspires the laziness, the video illustrates the primitive/automated feeling.

I went to the beach for the first time this year with a friend and we took some pictures. Then we went downtown and had a late and absurdly long dinner with friends, and then a crazy night! The following day she sent me the pictures and this one stood out! It was as if I was looking for something on the horizon. When I came to think about it I realized it was Summer I was looking forward to... and that it felt like it that day (and night)! The nasty hangover at (and) college the next day was the only reminder that Summer is not here yet...


But it's coming!
